"IN THE POCKET"...

This is one of my better drawings and a good note to end a sketchbook on. A sketchbook is like a journal of sorts that displays the growth of your drawing and sketching skills picture by picture. My overall goal was to keep my drawings very simple with an emphasis on shape, structure, and line work. Some of the earlier drawings in my sketchbook are pretty funny to look at because they are very simplistic. The drawings that don't appeal to me I chalk up as practice and leave it at that. It's always good to see growth and development after some hard work and it feels good to be able to get something on to the paper.
