Drawing the profile of a person or cartoon character can be pretty fun. I like to do profile drawings because it's mostly line work and I find that profile drawings are easier for me to draw. Also, I think manga characters, especially when it comes to profile drawings, are much easier to draw in comparison to drawing the profile of an actual person. Cartoon and manga characters all have exaggerated features making all of the characters funny to look at. Drawing the profile of an actual person is a daunting task for me because of the differences in detail, shape, and structure. Plus! I only specialize in the art of the doodle! His guide gives great instruction on how to develop the shape and structure of your characters.
